Description: The content of this course provides educators with the information and skills needed to increase their knowledge of classroom management procedures. Skills taught will present specific classroom strategies for managing classroom behavior in proactive and positive ways. This class is developed specifically for educators at the elementary level wanting to develop an effective universal classroom management and organizational system.
This evening class will be held at SASED Highland Hills office located at 1590 S. Fairfield Avenue, Lombard, IL 60148 on February 28, 2012 and March 1 & 8, 2012 from 4:30 PM - 9:00 PM. A registration fee of $50.00 is now required for all SASED and member district staff. Checks should be made payable to SASED and sent to the attention of: Susan Newhard 1590 South Fairfield Avenue Lombard, IL 60148 by February 21, 2012. This class is also being offered for credit thorugh Aurora University. If you will be taking this course for credit please make your check for $100 made payable to Aurora University and send to the Attention of: Susan Newhard 1590 S. Fairfield Avenue. The CHAMPS second edition text book is also required for this class feel free to bring your own or if you want we can order it for youat a cost of $50.00. - Choose 1 (one) session by clicking the button next to your choice.
- Fill in all registration information completely & accurately.
- Select “register” button at the bottom of the page.

Description: This Level II Sign Language Class is a continuation of information presented in the Beginning Sign Language Class. Activities will be presented to review and practice vocabulary from the beginning class and new sign language vocabulary will presented to expand the categories previously presented. Each class will allow time for expressive and receptive sign language skill development. Vocabulary content may be adjusted to address requests and needs of the participants.
Please register at www.sased.org by February 29, 2012. Registration will be on a first come first serve basis and will be limited to 20 participants. this course is offered to SASED staff and Member districts at a cost of $5.00 per session or $40.00 for the class. Staff outside the SASED member district area are required to pay a $50.00 registration fee in addition to the class cost. For LADSE staff working in the DWCDeaf/HH program the registration fee will be waived and only the cost of the class will apply. Checks should be made payable to SASED and received no later than February 29, 2012to confirm a seat. Description: These 4 meetings throughout the year will provide staff who are leading RtI/School Improvement efforts with an opportunity to share resources with staff with similar roles in other districts and to trouble shoot their current issues around consensus, infrastructure, and implementation. Participants will set agenda items and work together using a structured trouble shooting format.
Each meeting will be held at the SASED Highland Hills office located at 1590 S. Fairfield Avenue Lombard, IL 60148 and will run from 12-3:30 PM. Thses meetings are appropriate for all certified staff who are directly involved in leading RtI/School Improvement efforts in their school and/or district.
